Umpire Information
-
- Clinics are being held at 4
different locations during February to certify all umpires for State
of Georgia. The clinics will be conducted by State USSSA umpires in
Georgia and by Bob Holland, Atlantic Coast V.P. in Raleigh, NC. The
classes will be no longer than 2 hours except for North Carolina
meeting. We’ll be going over: Rules and any Rule changes; dress code
and how to order supplies; pitching attitude; mechanics and proper
positioning. Each participate will be given a certificate which will
allow umpires to work NIT’S, Conference and World Tournaments. It’s
important to try to attend one of these clinics below. If you don’t
get a certificate, you can not work the Tournaments above. This rule
comes directly from State Director, Rusty Carter.
